Blu Phillips
Program Manager | PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor

Blu was born in Texas and raised in a military family. Blu has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design/Marketing from Oklahoma Christian University.  She is a self-employed graphic designer and teaches tai chi part-time to seniors and enjoys making wood crafts for her booth.   She has started three colts and learned the basics of horse training at the SNU Colt Starting Class.  Blu has been a volunteer in the therapeutic riding world for several years and became a PATH Intl. Certified Instructor in 2019. She owns a beautiful, yet highly-opinionated mare, Miracle and her sweet dog, Dottie.  Blu says, "I fell in love with the mission of putting a horse and a special needs child together when I rode behind a young cowgirl named Hadley. Hadley was in a wheelchair with her communication coming through her eyes. Experiencing Hadley’s new view with her, holding her up, moving with the motion of the horse and watching the team of horse, volunteers, nurse and instructor all work together made such an impact on me. Honestly, it changed me forever. IF one day with a horse can make this much difference in a child.... then.... I AM IN. It was the most special four years of my life and started me on this incredible journey with the horse."

Tony Caro
Facilities Manager

Tony Caro was born in Youngstown, Ohio.  His parents Art and Mary Lou Caro live in Broken Arrow.  He married Pamela in 1985, and they have two children, Mick and Celia, a daughter in law, Savannah, a granddaughter, Mia and several grand dogs.  I have been a Teamster, moving cars at the GM plant, a Public Health worker, a Methodist pastor for 25 years, an El Reno Schools Special Education teacher for seven years and now your new Facilities Manager.
Our family had our own place with horses for many years, which has prepared me for this new adventure. God has given me a servant’s heart and I seek to be present and useful in whatever situations God directs me into.  My God be glorified.
My family moved often when I was growing up.  My Dad served as the camp manager at Star Ranch in Colorado Springs for several years with the Young Life organization.  I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a young age and have sought to serve the Lord the many years since.  I feel at home in the church and love to be in Worship as I am able.
I enjoy Pickleball, Sailing, playing Volleyball and now digging ditches and/or hacking Thistles in the pastures.  Come join me on the Grounds team. We have ways to serve that will enable God to heal “through the power of the horse”.
